As pressure, temperature and environmental demands increase in subsea operations, sealing systems must keep pace. At Kvenna, we pioneered metal-to-metal sealing with our LX-Seal technology, enabling stem and radial bonnet seals that meet API 6A (ISO 10423) PR2 and Class 2 sandy-service standards. 

Introduced early on to enhance valve reliability and minimize intervention risk, our Metal Seals have been installed globally for decades. They cover demanding applications from gate valves, ball valves and choke valves, to high-pressure caps, flow-line connectors and intervention BOP systems. 

Our design centres around proven materials (e.g., UNS NO7718 with silver-coating, carbides on seal faces) and extensive qualification: prototypes were tested for high differential pressure, extreme temperature variations and cyclic endurance up to 500 cycles in sandy PR1 and PR2 service conditions.
