Every part is inspected by the CNC operator during and after machining. Using advanced dimensional control tools — supported by our QA responsible — the operator verifies that all measurements are within tolerance before production is finalized.
After passing dimensional control and final deburring, each part undergoes a thorough QA inspection performed by our certified QA personnel. This includes verification of all critical parameters and any customer-specific inspection or documentation requirements.
Our quality system is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, ensuring structured handling of non-conformities and a robust approach to continuous improvement.
Kvenna offers a broad range of NDT services, including:
For NDT methods not performed in-house, such as radiographic testing (RT) and magnetic particle inspection (MPI), Kvenna cooperates with qualified and approved external partners to ensure full coverage of customer and project requirements.
Our NDT inspectors hold certifications such as ISO 9712:2022, ISO 17637, CSWIP-BG-22-12, SNT-TC-1A 2020 and ISO 9001:2015 Level 2 NDT personnel certification.
Level III testing can be provided through third-party partners upon request.
We frequently coordinate and facilitate third-party witnessing and final inspections. Whether the inspection is performed by the customer or an independent classification society, Kvenna manages the entire process professionally and transparently.
We have long experience working with major global class societies, including:
DNV, ABS, Bureau Veritas, RINA, Lloyd’s Register, CCS, KR and others.
All required documentation — such as dimensional reports, material certificates, NDT reports and class certificates — is archived and delivered exactly as agreed with the customer.
Kvenna uses a wide range of modern measurement tools, including:
Kvenna is self-certified for calibration of micrometers and thread micrometers, ensuring documented accuracy and traceability for these measuring instruments. Our QA personnel also perform annual calibration of our measuring devices (Mahr Linear 1200, 800). This calibration service is available to external companies upon request.
